Yuri Quiaoit, School Counselor
My name is Yuri Quiaoit and I would like to welcome you to MGLVA! I am excited to partner with you and help you meet your goals in school and in life.
I earned my Masters Degree in School Counseling and Community Counseling from Spring Arbor University in 2013. I previously worked as the school counselor for Jackson Learning Lab, which is also a virtual school located in Jackson, MI. I also served for seven years at Youth Haven Ranch located in Rives Junction, MI, as a member of their full-time children’s programming staff/camp counselor. I was born in Philippines and moved to Toronto, Canada when I was in the seventh grade. Then, I moved to Gladwin, MI during my sophomore year in high school. My family and I currently reside in Middleton, MI where my wife grew up and is now teaching at the school she went to as a child. I love music and I love playing any types of percussion instruments. I found a love for running three years ago, and it is hard work. Ironically, that is what I enjoy the most about running! I look forward in partnering with you during your journey with us at MGLVA :) |
Ms. Sara Mrozowsky
Hello all! I graduated from Baker College in the spring of 2008 and that fall started my first teaching job as a Computer Science teacher. I taught Computers for three years and then took a year off so I could finish my masters. I graduated from Oakland University in 2012 with a Mental Health counseling degree. For the last two years I have been working as a Registrar in a small private school. I am now looking forward to starting my new adventure at MGLVA.
I am an avid reader and it is not uncommon to find me curled up in my favorite chair with my dog on my lap reading an e-book. |
